Welcome to Adirondack Fotoscapes.

Living in a beautiful area just outside the Adirondack Park in Upstate New York, I naturally tend towards shooting landscapes, scenics and nature. However, I photograph just about anything that I come across in my travels.

One of the best things about photography is that time stands still when composing and shooting an image. It allows you to look around and really see the world in a way you normally don't otherwise. ....And there really is so much to see and photograph. From the widest vistas to the smallest details on a flower, from summer through winter and back to summer, there is an infinite variety of worthwhile subjects. I consider an image to be successful when it conveys to the viewer the same emotions that I felt when capturing it.

So, slow down awhile and take your time looking through these galleries. Smell the fresh air, feel the cool breeze and take a mini-break from your busy day. I hope that you get as much enjoyment from viewing these images as I experienced in capturing them.
